This training will prepare attorneys to participate in the ILCM Pro Bono Naturalization Project. Through the ILCM Naturalization Project, pro bono attorneys represent low-income immigrants and refugees in their citizenship cases. All cases have been pre-screened for eligibility and should only require 15-20 hours of legal work depending on experience. ILCM staff provides ongoing legal support throughout all cases. The ILCM Naturalization Project is a great way to help immigrants achieve the ultimate goal of securing citizenship in the United Sates, enabling them to unite their families, pass US citizenship on to their children, and vote in future elections!
